The Team:Our global creative team consist of a diverse group of User Experience Designers, Interaction Designers, 2D and 3D Visual Designers, Motion Graphic Artist, Modelers and Developers. We collaborate with the interior and exterior design studios, product planning, brand teams, software teams, engineering, and outside suppliers through all stages of the product development cycle. At the core we leverage hardware, software, and strategic partnerships to support the foundational pillars that uniquely make each product meaningful and special. We build bridges between technology and the customer.

Our Goal:Create rich, digital experiences that build a user-centered ecosystem to enhance our brands, and strengthen the relationship with our customers.

The Job:As a UX Researcher, you will create understanding and empathy around user needs, stated and unstated, for entire product teams including designers, product managers, and engineers. You will do so by conducting primary research, exploring the behaviors and motivations of our users through methods like field visits, ethnography, surveys, and usability testing, and by consulting with and providing guidance to other teams as they carry out their own research. Your efforts will help us create useful, usable, and innovative new products and features.

Responsibilities:

  • Define and execute a comprehensive research plan

  • Identify best method or mix of quantitative and qualitative methods based on priorities, research questions, timeline, and resourcing

  • Design, conduct, and analyze results from a variety of research studies including usability lab studies, remote research, field studies and survey design

  • Generate actionable insights from the data you collect

  • Identify and collaborate with external research vendors (when necessary) to complete projects

  • Evangelize UX research within the greater organization

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in human-factors, anthropology, psychology or related field

  • Minimum 3 years of experience working as a UX Researcher

  • Knowledge reviewing user research and data to build a strategic and user-friendly design

  • A portfolio demonstrating past work experience and deliverables (e.g., study plans, reports, personas)

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

  • Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in human-factors, anthropology, psychology or related field

  • 5 years of experience working as a UX Researcher

  • Excellent communication, presentation, interpersonal and analytical skills

  • The ability to communicate complex concepts clearly and persuasively across different audiences and varying levels of the organization

  • A passion and capacity to advocate on behalf of our users

  • User research or other experience from a technical field, such as software development, automotive or similar

  • Experience with applied statistics
