About the Team:

The Global Project Management Excellence Team (TDY) develop and deploy CVS project management framework, connected across- functions and corresponding to business needs. We drive initiatives and improvements on divisional level to bring CVS project management to the next level. We collaborate with all functions and all product lines; we also interact with other divisions within group initiatives. At the same time this role shall be well embedded into regional (AM) project management community. Being an enabler for smooth project execution, mentor for processes/requirements, as well as partner for the business leaders to ensure we follow common goals in CVS projects execution.

What You Can Look Forward to as a Project Management Excellence Engineer North America:

• Define and deploy standardized processes for project execution

• Develop end-to-end fully accountable mindset within project management teams

• Onboard new Project Managers with regards to processes, methods, standards and requirements

• Mentor and advise project managers in solving critical challenges in project management

• Provide trainings on project management framework elements

• Perform governance assessments on project execution according to CVS PM governance framework

• Explore new ways how to run projects and pilot new PM approaches

• Assure awareness and guidance to CVS business leaders in regards to CVS PM Framework

• Provide input to qualification strategies and PjM competency roadmaps

• Ensure link and interface to functions, other PMOs in both CVS and in the Corporate

Your Profile as Project Management Excellence Manager North America:

• Bachelor’s Degree in a discipline relevant to project management

• 6+ years of professional experience related to project management

• Knowledge of Commercial Vehicles business and products

• High degree of perseverance with strong continuous improvement mindset

• Proven track record of building strong coalitions across diverse functions and locations to improve overall PM ecosystem

• Committed to goals and self-driven

• Certificate in Project mgmt. IPMA Level C, PMI or similar will be an advantage

• Skills for connectivity with internal customers e.g. project/program managers and business leaders

• Preferably deep knowledge of new product development process in automotive industry

• Proficient MS Office skills. Experience with project management tools like cplace, planisware etc would be a plus.

• International experience with high proficiency in English
