About the Opportunity

 

DMI is seeking a Technical Delivery Lead

As the Technical Delivery Leady, the person will hold a key role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our IT systems and applications. Responsibilities will encompass collaborating with a wide team of professionals with a focus on improving product and process quality, implementing quality assurance strategies, and ensuring that our software solutions align with industry standards and best practices.Duties and Responsibilities: Strategy: Develop and execute a robust quality assurance strategy tailored to the unique needs of the automotive connected services platform and aligning with ongoing program objectives.

Team Leadership: Lead and inspire a team of quality professionals, fostering a culture of excellence, collaboration, and continuous improvement.

Standards: Establish and enforce quality standards, best practices, and testing methodologies specific to automotive software development projects.

Planning: Collaborate with program leads and stakeholders to craft comprehensive test plans, outlining scope, objectives, resource allocation, and timelines.

Execution: Oversee the meticulous execution of test cases, including functional, regression, integration, and performance testing, ensuring comprehensive coverage.

Automation: Champion test automation initiatives to enhance efficiency and expand test coverage, leveraging relevant tools and frameworks. Defect Management: Implement and manage defect tracking and reporting processes to facilitate prompt issue resolution.

Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to optimize quality processes, tools, and methodologies, enhancing software quality and delivery efficiency.

Compliance: Ensure strict adherence to industry regulations, safety standards, consumer, and security protocols relevant to our customers, platform and partner integrations

Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with development, DevOps, and product management teams to promote a culture of quality across the software development lifecycle.

 

Qualifications

 

Education and Years of Experience:

Required and Desired Skills/Certifications: Proven experience as a manager in quality assurance or a similar role within the automotive industry.

Profound knowledge of software quality assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.

Expertise in test automation and familiarity with automotive-specific testing tools.

Exceptional communication and leadership skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Understanding of automotive industry practices, safety standards, and regulations (highly preferred). Additional Requirements: Highly knowledgeable and practical expertise in Agile methodologies (Scrum/Kanban), execution of Agile ceremonies and events (Sprint Planning, Stand-up, Refinement, etc), Agile artifacts (Sprints, Backlogs) and high level of proficiency in Agile tools (Confluence, JIRA, Visio, Azure Dev Ops, etc.).
