Closely Held Business Analyst Senior Comerica's Closely Held Business Group is comprised of dedicated professionals that provide management tailored to the unique challenges of closely held investments in trust and estate portfolios. Comerica has the experience, expertise, and professional resources to develop and propose asset management plans and implement strategies to achieve overall trust and estate planning and settlement objectives. The Closely Held Business Analyst role will be responsible for actively managing a portfolio of assets in non-marketable investments to include limited partnerships, LLCs, and minerals held in personal trust and fiduciary accounts. The role will also provide analytical support to senior closely held officers on assets in their portfolios. Position Responsibilities: * Manage a portfolio of low risk, low complexity private business investments (partnerships, LLC's, common stock and minerals) including performing investment reviews, presenting investment recommendations to the internal team, and determining valuations. * Analyze financial statements to evaluate asset performance. * Review entity governing documents such as Articles of Incorporation, By-Laws, or LLC Agreements. * Establish asset market values using basic business valuation techniques. * Implement sales of assets. * Conduct annual asset reviews and present reviews to the internal team, demonstrating understanding of the asset and trust's interest therein. * Provide support to Closely Held Business Officers on more complex accounts. * Work with mineral management partner to onboard mineral assets; present mineral asset reviews to the internal team. Position Qualifications * Bachelor's degree from an accredited university AND 1 years of financial or investment analysis experience OR High School Diploma (or the Equivalent) AND 5 years of financial or investment analysis experience * 2 years of experience working with special assets (e.g. in fiduciary, banking or lending capacities) such as privately held corporations, limited partnerships, LLCs, minerals, and other related assets. * 2 years of experience with Microsoft Word and Excel Equal Opportunity Employer Minorities/Women/Protected Veterans/Disabled
