JOB DESCRIPTION:

Our client's Global Procurement and Supplier Quality portfolio consists of projects related to process reengineering, procurement information technology system implementations, compliance projects and our client's Digital Transformation Roadmap. The Global Procurement Project Manager is responsible for all aspects of the project including the coordination and completion of projects on time within budget and within scope. The Project Manager will develop and manage a comprehensive project plan including but not limited to scope, schedule, resource management, cost, communication plan, risk and issue management, monitoring and status reporting.

General Responsibilities:

-Work with cross functional team members and departments to develop and document business requirements including process flow modeling, requirement traceability matrixes and data models.

-Defines project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility

-Develops comprehensive project plans and manages all implementation processes including resource allocation, progress and KPI tracking, monitoring change control process, testing, documentation, training, and on-time delivery within budget constraints

-Develop process models as is and to be, document procedures, instructions and process documentation and conduct readiness surveys prior to implementation and measure change effectiveness post implementation.

-Manage solution assessments (internal and third party) and document decision matrixes.

-Implement risk and issue management throughout project. Performing root cause analysis and documenting remediation plans and track corrective action plans to close. Generate reports and present findings to leadership.

-Develop and maintain and execute a project communication plan including internal and external stakeholders.

-Develop training curriculum, maintain training rosters, and deliver training to internal and external team members. Maintain training effectiveness surveys and continually assess needs to training updates, maintain training schedules, and conduct refreshers, as required

-Regularly communicates and presents project schedules, statuses, and updates to various team members and bringing solutions/opportunities

Experience / Qualifications:

  • BS degree and 4-6 years of experience, or a MS degree and 2-4 years of experience, or PhD degree and 0-2 years of experience

Experience in leading projects using Project Management methodology, supply chain processes, business process development and modeling, data modeling, data analysis, procedure creation, development and delivery of training and schedule management (MS Project) is preferred. Additionally, previous experience in a business analyst is a plus.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills supported by comprehensive data analysis, visual presentation of data and status reporting.

  • Highly proficient at conducting effective meetings with a defined agenda. Establish priorities and due dates and collaboratively work with team members to ensure deliverables are completed.

  • Ability to conduct independent research related to project subject areas and provide recommendations.

  • Strong clear and concise verbal and written communication skills. Able to prepare effective presentations, brief at all levels in the organization.

  • Strong organizational skills and ability to multitask. Good attention to details and schedule orientated.

  • Team player able to work in a fast-paced environment, able to handle multiple competing tasks and demands

  • Good organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results

  • Good personal and professional ethical values and integrity

  • Accountability to achieve goals and standards

  • Proficiency in MS Office programs such as Project, Word, PowerPoint, Visio and Excel

  • Good interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and external customers
