Join a dynamic real estate company as a Temp-to-Hire Accounts Payable Specialist! Our client is seeking a detail-oriented professional to manage our accounts payable processes, ensuring timely and accurate payments, and maintaining vendor relationships. This role is perfect for someone with a great accounting background who is looking for a long-term career opportunity in a fast-paced real estate environment. salary: $25 - $28 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: Associate

Responsibilities

• Process and scan invoices into Yardi Payscan

• Verify accuracy of vendor details, invoice numbers, invoice dates,remit address, general ledger codes, and contract details

• Assist with expense reimbursements

• Set up new vendors and maintain existing vendor records- as required

• Manage assigned operational properties as directed by the AP Manager

• Process and code Corporate & Operations invoices

• Handle invoices for Development properties as required

• Prepare weekly and monthly payables status reports

• Mail and distribute in house checks needed

• Investigate and resolve vendor payment issues

• Provide backup support for payment processing in Yardi Payscan including check printing and obtaining signature

• Assist with the annual processing, printing, and mailing of company 1099 forms

• Participate in cross training for other roles within the AP Department
