ROLE OVERVIEW:

The Project Manager will be responsible for developing workflow plans including project scope, timelines, budgeting and ensuring that all deadlines are met. Additionally, the Project Manager will manage project risks, communicate with stakeholders, and ensure continuous monitoring of productivity and billing.

This role will be remote or hybrid in our Atlanta office.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Monitoring project plans and workflow management

  • Manage budgets and communicate run rates with clients

  • Daily communication with team members, clients, and vendors

  • Assist with reviewing the billing process, specifically regarding subcontractor, third party vendors and expenses

  • Always meets Ankura’s high-quality control standards

SKILLS, EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

  • A BA/BS degree and/or equivalent combination of skills and experience

  • PMP certification is a plus

  • Experience with Workday, Salesforce or InTapp is highly preferred

  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience working in client service industries required

  • Proficient with MS Office (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)

  • Exceptional reliability and timeliness

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and oral

  • Able to work in constantly changing settings and demonstrate flexibility to work extended hours when necessary

  • Highly organized, detail oriented, and self-disciplined

  • Demonstrated ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects

  • Manage daily workflow and maintain deadlines

  • Proof client work before delivery

  • Assist with the creation of budgets and proposals

  • Assist with expense reporting

  • Manage subcontractors and outside vendors

  • Successfully manage the billing process with the Finance department

  • Confirm timely delivery of billing and collection

  • Project management experience in the legal or consulting industries preferred
