Jacobs Traffic Engineering Intern - Summer 2025 in Atlanta, Georgia

By joining our Atlanta team of traffic/transportation professionals, we’ll expand on your civil/electrical/electronic engineering studies through traffic simulation modeling, signal timing & operations, and traffic signal. This work associated with our traffic/transportation projects will give you a look into your future career and enhance your engineering knowledge and experience.

You’ll work with the best Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver the boldest solutions for everyday living.

We want you to empower you to think beyond and innovate!

  • In pursuit of a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering in an accredited program with an emphasis in transportation

  • Interest in Traffic projects

  • Must be at least a rising Junior

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs

Ideally, you’ll also have:

  • 3.0 GPA

  • Knowledge of Microstation, HCS, Synchro software

  • A previous internship related to your field of study

  • Ability to communicate with all levels of management within Jacobs

  • Self-driven time management and organizational skills
