We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Temp Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our client's finance team on a temporary basis. In this role, you will be responsible for managing incoming payments, ensuring timely collection of outstanding invoices, and maintaining accurate financial records. This temporary position offers an excellent opportunity to contribute to our company's financial operations while gaining valuable experience in accounts receivable management.

salary: $23 - $27 per hour

shift: First

work hours: 8 AM - 5 PM

education: High School

Responsibilities

• Invoice Management: Generate and issue invoices to customers, ensuring accuracy and adherence to contract terms.

• Payment Processing: Record and payments received to customer accounts, including checks, ACH, wire transfers, and credit card transactions.

• Collections: Monitor accounts to identify overdue payments, proactively contact customers regarding outstanding invoices, and initiate collection activities.

• Account Reconciliation: Reconcile customer accounts, resolve discrepancies, and adjust accounts as necessary.

• Reporting: Prepare and maintain detailed accounts receivable aging reports, tracking the status of outstanding invoices and collection efforts.

• Customer Relations: Maintain positive relationships with customers, addressing inquiries and resolving issues related to billing, payments, and account discrepancies.

• Credit Management: Assist in evaluating customer creditworthiness, establishing credit limits, and managing credit holds.

• Month-End Close: Assist with month-end closing activities, including the preparation of accounts receivable journal entries and account reconciliations.

• Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and financial regulations.

• Process Improvement: Identify opportunities to enhance accounts receivable processes, streamline workflows, and implement best practices.
