How you'll help us Keep Climbing (overview & key responsibilities)

The Technical Product Manager will be responsible for the product definition of all products in assigned product family - to develop Component and Piece Part repair costing and pricing structure for competitiveness in the MRO industry. Will serve as the sole point of contact of the sales manager/account manager to the business units and other contributing departments to create standard proposals and then customize as necessary. Will create competitive proposals and move them through the approval process in industry leading turn times. Will benchmark industry and provide business units information to improve products and competitiveness. Will assist in the forecasting, planning, and strategy development. Will coordinate with other Program Managers to ensure consistent quality in process and appearance of proposals. Practices safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

  • Possesses a high school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.

Is at least 18 years of age and has authorization to work in the United States.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)

  • Five plus years of experience in business unit of product family.

  • Additional experience in Finance, Reliability, or Product related administrative/analytical/management position preferred.

  • Bachelor's degree (BA/BS) preferred.

  • Understanding of TechOps and the MRO industry as it relates to product family.

  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional projects.

  • Ability to think and solve problems at both conceptual and practical levels.

  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and time management skills.

  • Exceptional analytical skills, familiar with financial analysis.

  • Strong customer focus (internal and external).

  • Proficient Windows PC skills including a thorough working knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint.
