    Your Impactful Role

    The Talent Acquisition Specialist manages daily talent acquisition activities within the Human Resources department. This role involves overseeing the entire recruitment cycle, from sourcing and attracting candidates to conducting initial phone screenings and coordinating subsequent hiring steps. The Talent Acquisition Specialist collaborates closely with hiring managers to understand and meet staffing needs, build strong relationships, and efficiently fill open positions with top talent.

Talent Sourcing and Recruitment Strategies

  • Partner with hiring managers to determine staffing needs and develop effective recruitment strategies tailored to each role

  • Identify and source qualified candidates through various channels like job boards, social media, career fairs, community events, employee referrals, etc.

  • Build and maintain relationships with schools, organizations, and networks to expand the candidate pool

  • Devise and implement sourcing strategies to build pipelines of potential applicants, such as employer branding initiatives

  • Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative recruitment techniques

  • Gather data on competition, market conditions, and trends that may impact talent acquisition

  • Recommend ideas and strategies to contribute to the company's long-range growth

  • Evaluate and improve recruitment strategies, making recommendations to senior leadership

    Candidate Management and Selection

  • Review applications in the applicant tracking system (ATS) and other platforms to fill job vacancies

  • Screen and evaluate candidates against job requirements and qualifications

  • Conduct phone, video, and in-person interviews with candidates

  • Assess candidates' fit with the company's goals and culture

  • Collaborate with hiring managers and interview teams to ensure alignment on candidate evaluation criteria

    Recruitment Marketing and Employer Branding

  • Develop advertising programs (internal and external) to ensure high visibility with potential candidates

  • Create and update job postings, slogans, and marketing materials

  • Leverage social media and other marketing forums to drive traffic to career opportunities

  • Attend job fairs and represent the company in a positive, professional manner

    Compliance and Administration

  • Adhere to all applicable federal, state, and local laws in the recruiting process

  • Maintain candidate databases and ensure accurate documentation of recruitment activities

  • Manage the internal transfer process, including screening, interviews, and offer letters

  • Train managers on the applicant tracking system and communicate updates

  • Create and update position descriptions for all roles

  • Participate in virtual meetings and conference calls as needed

    Technology and Attendance

  • Proficiency in using HR information systems, databases, and Microsoft Office suite

  • Maintain regular on-site attendance

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    None.

Travel

This position requires up to 25% travel within the Metro Atlanta area.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field from an accredited college/university required (or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience).

  • Minimum of 3 years’ experience in recruitment or recruitment support.

  • Experience with applicant tracking software and with recruiting tools.

  • Experience with MS Office Suite and virtual platforms such as Zoom, Skype, Teams, etc.

  • Knowledge of current talent acquisition practices, general employment practices and related legal requirements.

  • Ability to effectively communicate, both written and verbal, with all levels of the organization.

  • Ability to build professional relationships and collaborate with internal and external partners.

  • Demonstrated ability to provide the highest level of customer service to internal (i.e. employees) and external customers (i.e. candidates).

It is necessary to view and type on computer screens for long periods of time and to work in an environment that can be very stressful. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. Must be able to deal with aggressive, hostile, and sometimes irrational behavior of patients and family members and can respond to all patients in a calm and professional manner.
