Supply Planner
Role Summary:
The Supply Planner’s primary function is managing inventory service targets across multiple brands in our distribution network. The supply planner is responsible for managing a family of brands to maximize customer service outcomes while balancing inventory investment and optimizing capacity utilization. A strong candidate will bring experience managing multi-location inventory optimization and the ability to project high level supply/demand plans over 6-12 month horizon.
The Supply Planner will collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to optimize product supply through short-mid term supply/demand alignment.
The Supply Planner is a strategic planning position, reporting to the Supply Chain Leader.
Role Specifics:
The Supply Planner is responsible for calculating and managing safety stock levels and implementing supply chain planning strategies across a family of brands supporting our customer service initiatives. This function will be accountable for delivering service outcomes while controlling inventory in line with our strategic S&OP cycle.
Key Responsibilities:
· Build 12 month supply and inventory plan for family of brands across distribution network to be used as shipment plan for TireHub
· Manage relationships with suppliers to influence product availability
· Configure planning solution (Tools Group) to achieve optimal customer service and inventory investment outcomes across 75+ distribution centers
· Lead supply planning collaboration calls with key vendors as part of sales and operations planning cycle
· Calculate statistical safety stock models to facilitate continuous improvement in customer service
· Serve as a key resource for replenishment team supporting customer service outcomes
· Manage ongoing collaboration with suppliers on items in challenged supply and develop strategies to deliver perfect service
· Collaborates with demand planning to understand requirements for customers in the future
· Manages PO order book with vendors to ensure alignment
· Communicates lead time changes from suppliers
· Manages product transitions from vendors
· Lead the improvement of supply process and prepare the decision making with respect other supplier capacity variation.
· Assess current inventory levels and forecast to make business decision that achieves service level and working capital objectives
· Actively participate in the S&OP process providing and updating the supply plan
· Prepare the decisions to be taken with respect to the supply plan (i.e. by the Head of Supply Chain), support the related decision communication, maintain the related decisions log
· Initialize or consolidate or led the procurement plan or the capacity allocation
· Generate and distribute analytics reports

Experience and Education:
5+ years of applicable work experiences with a focus on supply planning/replenishment planning
Experience with integrated planning software (Tools Group/JDA/Other)
Comfortable managing strategic relationships with vendors/customers
Bachelor’s degree in operations/supply chain or equivalent
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Demonstrated progression of experience, including effectively managing inventory in a multi-location distribution network
E xperience with process improvement, including development and implementation efficiencies
Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate across all levels of the organization, tailoring communication with ease to best connect with a target audience
