This role can be based in Atlanta, GA.

The LinkedIn Global Strategic Sourcing (GSS) Team is a vibrant group of professionals in strategic sourcing, contracting, operations, risk, and compliance, all bringing inclusive backgrounds and skill sets globally. As a dedicated and detail-oriented Senior Compliance Associate, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the effectiveness and integrity of our global supply chain and supplier risk management systems. Your focus will be on evaluating and reporting on various compliance obligations and regulatory requirements globally. You will collaborate closely with internal stakeholders and periodically with suppliers to maintain high standards of Supplier Compliance and Risk Management, ensuring adherence to all relevant regulations and policies.

Core Responsibilities

  • Assist with reporting efforts to meet our compliance obligations for Supply Chain Integrity and other regulations, using both data analysis and qualitative insights.

  • Lead risk assessments for optimal mitigation approaches such as our company-level impact assessments for Supply Chain Integrity.

  • Perform periodic effectiveness checks of supplier vetting, assessment, and case management processes ensuring that these audits are independent of the roles tasked with leading the operations of these systems.

  • Support the development of the Supplier Compliance roadmap and internal communication plan.

  • Facilitate supplier isolation process in collaboration with our Intake Concierge and Microsoft Trade Legal teams.

  • Complete the annual Provider Code of Conduct gap analysis and updates and help track and report attestations.

  • Provide annual audit support, including competitive bids, SOC2 compliance and country specific requirements.

  • Support the identification and management of supplier non-conformances as flagged by Supplier Risk Operations.

  • Conduct periodic contract effectiveness checks to ensure compliance, including:

  • Gathering data for the accessibility amendment process with Supplier Governance.

  • Identifying high-risk suppliers based on code of conduct compliance, exceptions, and long-term Data Processing Agreement exceptions.

  • Collaborate on the implementation of our Competitive Bid Policy Process and development of audit controls.

  • Assist in executing periodic supplier audits.

  • Build trust and maintain positive relationships with internal partners & stakeholders, cross-functional teams, and external auditors.  

  • Maintain accurate and detailed compliance program documentation, per established governance expectations, ensuring easy retrieval and reference. 

  • Address and support ad hoc compliance inquiries from customers and legal partners along with performing other duties, special projects as assigned. 

Basic Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Law, or a related field.

  • 4+ years of compliance management experience, risk management, strategic sourcing or a related field.

  • Experience in the Microsoft Suite of products; Word, Excel, SharePoint, PowerPoint, etc.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Unwavering commitment to ethics, integrity, and accountability with the ability to maintain independence and confidentiality. 

  • Familiarity with global supply chain and data regulations such as the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the German Supply Chain Act (LkSG), Uyghur Forced Labor Prevention Act (UFLPA), Corporate Sustainability Reporting Directive (CSRD), and the Corporate Sustainability Due Diligence Directive (CSDDD).

  • Experience operationalizing regulatory compliance is a plus.

  • Prior experience in audit, compliance, and/or regulatory matters, especially in the technology space, strongly preferred.   

  • Experience with Supplier Relationship Management and the Source to Pay lifecycle.

  • Assessing the effectiveness of controls, ability to analyze and identify patterns.

  • Demonstrated ability to take ownership and initiative, work independently with tight timelines, quickly adapt to shifting priorities and demands.

  • Experience managing multiple and concurrent projects executed through various geographic locations.

  • Knowledge of project and change management best practices and a continuous improvement mindset to optimize project processes and outcomes. 

  • Communicates clearly, concisely, and promptly while collaborating effectively and interpreting data for high-level insights.

  • Detail-oriented while also understanding the big picture. 

  • Personable and credible - ability to build productive working relationships across global teams; internal cross-functional teams and external suppliers.

  • Strong problem-solving, data analytics and reporting skills.

The pay range for this role is $84,000- $137,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
