The AFP Marketing team is seeking a Senior Marketing Analytics manager that will collaborate closely with technical teams, marketing and communication stakeholders, and our international counterparts to deliver data, governance, and reporting that can scale globally. This person is excited about solving complex problems and breaking down business goals into tech requirements, can speak both business and technical languages and can work both at the strategic and tactical level. This person will establish best practices for marketing technology infrastructure, including database and lead management, data hygiene and enrichment, system governance, campaign creation, reporting, and integrations with first-party and third-party systems.

Successful candidates are analytical, comfortable thinking big and diving deep, and have a proven track record of end-to-end project ownership and successfully delivering results in a fast-paced, dynamic business environment.

Key job responsibilities

  • Collaborate closely with technical teams, marketing and communication stakeholders, and international counterparts to deliver tools and templates that can scale globally.

  • Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms for Marketo data source and propose relevant Marketing metrics within the digital marketing lead lifecycle.

  • Recommend and implement new ideas (project plans, collaborations with internal and external teams) to optimize program performance.

  • Assist in monitoring data quality and integrity. Execute data migration/cleansing projects.

  • Take initiative to improve support processes, decreasing delivery time, and improving customer satisfaction. Look for ways to automate manual processes and increase self-service capabilities.

  • Plan and build scalable reporting mechanisms for Marketo data source and propose relevant Marketing metrics within the digital marketing lead lifecycle.

  • Perform technical project management of the email marketing development lifecycle, including requirements gathering, design/development, testing, configuration, and advanced administration.

System proficiency preferred:

  • SFDC, Marketo, Qualtrics, Adobe Analytics (Marketo certification is strongly preferred as it’s the center of all the system Marketing Ops operates)

  • Data visualization

*coding languages: Basic python, html and java

  • SQL

Basic Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional non-internship marketing experience

  • Experience using data and metrics to drive improvements

  • Experience with Excel or Tableau (data manipulation, macros, charts and pivot tables)

  • Experience building, executing and scaling cross-functional marketing programs

  • Knowledge of analytics tools and web traffic reporting

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience using any of SQL or other analytical tools for conducting data analysis

  • Experience with customer segmentation, profiling, and targeting

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $128,600/year in our lowest geographic market up to $212,600/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company. Dependent on the position offered, equity, sign-on payments, and other forms of compensation may be provided as part of a total compensation package, in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits.
