Join our dynamic team and make your mark on the payments technology landscape of tomorrow.Summary of This RoleThe Senior Manager, Product Design is responsible for leading and mentoring the UX/Product Design team, enabling high performance and removing obstacles to the attainment of their goals. The Senior Manager hires, develops and retains talent to scale the function and meet business goals. The Senior Manager champions Product Design practices for the Product Design team. The Senior Manager champions practices that increase team velocity, quality and accountability.As a leader this manager will be a self-starter who embraces the challenge of translating user needs into impactful and delightful experiences that drive successful outcomes for our business, customers, and employees. This individual will not only own how our products look and feel but will also be an integral part of a cross-functional team working to prioritize the most significant opportunities to support our users and the business. They will be an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills who is willing to prove her/himself within a company of talented individuals. This person should be patient, understanding, ego-free and eager to give and receive constructive feedback. This role will require the individual to be comfortable in a fast-paced organization and excited to collaborate with other designers, UX architects, researchers, engineers, and product managers.What Part Will You Play?Essential DutiesProvides leadership and mentorship to the UX/Product Design team.Review goals and objectives with individual UX/Product Designers on a quarterly basis.Conduct annual performance appraisals for the UX/Product Designers.Remove obstacles concerning tools for UX/Product Designers to successfully perform their roles.Provide visibility into team/team member accomplishments.Create, assist and follow-up on professional development/career progression plans.Interview and hire new team members.Lead on-boarding of new UX/Product Designers.Update UX/Product Designer Career-Pathing sheets.Collaborate and liaise with other Product Strategy and Product Delivery leaders in achieving company goals.Monitor new...
