THE POSITION
The Sr. Director of Concurrent and Transformation Engineering here at Honeywell, you will hold a senior leadership position and will be responsible for leading the strategy for concurrent engineering, AME, maintenance, Accelerator, AI/OI and NPI across global ISC.
This role is critical to the continued success of supply chain transformation and ensuring we progress the efforts of NPI, ECN, FPY and delivering to our customers faster, while also ensuring we manage the cost of doing so to the levels planned.
This role will lead the efforts to align ISC with Engineering on NPIs to ensure products are made for manufacturing within the ISC Honeywell Building Automation (BA) business unit, as a people leader, you will play a key role in developing and supporting your teams, fostering a culture of collaboration and innovation.
You will report directly to our BA Integrated Supply Chain Vice President.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Concurrence Engineering: Close the loops and gaps between NPI, ECNs and production products, driving actions and solutions among design engineering, AME, Quality, Sourcing, Planning, and production.
AME: First pass yield program improvement, Manufacturing process improvement (group of technical experts), Digitalization tools implementation, Capex, budget and execution, automatization, manufacturing resiliency.
NPI: Standardize the NPI process across all GBE/Regions with cross-functional alignment to ensure flawless transition execution. Enable inventory and bias control by leveraging Rapid Response capabilities
Sourcing: Develop a standard end-to-end NPI procurement process with clear requirements for each development phase, aligned with the HON Global Development Model. Create a digital dashboard to track projects and compliance with key sourcing metrics. This role will lead the strategy for insourcing assessments, especially as it pertains to SAS contract mfg. post integration. The leader will be responsible for setting up new strategies to define core competencies on what is hard to source and defining the manufacturing strategy.
Planning: Deploy and leverage the ‘NPI Metrics Scorecard’ to drive NPI production readiness. Integrate NPI metrics targets in Discovery and Development phase exits. Use digital tools to collect objective data on product readiness (FPY, cycle times, etc.).
Quality: Standardize the NPI Quality process across GBE/Regions/site/RT in each NPI phase. Ensure cross-functional alignment on roles and responsibilities for a flawless product launch.
Preventative Maintenance (PM): Standardize the TPM process globally, establish the appropriate maintenances process, procedures, and retinues to optimize uptimes and cost. As BA increases automation, the introduction of a PM program is critical to protect our investments and maintain our up-time metric expectations.
Accelerator: This role will lead the Accelerator subfunction and focus on global alignment to the GDM, regional execution of Kaizen productivity, Poka Yoke campaigns, Sprint Deployments and revamping the Six Sigma and Lean Expert training.
AI/OI: develop the platform and standard process for AI/OI for met analysis and recommendations by plant GBE, region and global.

YOU MUST HAVE
Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical skills.
Minimum 10 years of leadership experience in supply chain, engineering or manufacturing with increasing responsibility in a complex, global environment is required.
Proven track record of leading change in a complex, matrix organization.
Strong team leadership and talent development.
Experience leading application of AME in NPI process.
Operational Excellence experience.
Strong Leadership and influencing skillset.
Lean expert and/ Black belt is highly desired.
