Insight Global ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Administrator in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM Administrator to manage, maintain, and enhance our ServiceNow platform. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, functionality, and efficiency of our Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and IT Operations Management (ITOM) processes, supporting IT services, and aligning with organizational goals.

Skills and Requirements

CMDB Management:

 Maintain and optimize the CMDB to ensure accurate and complete configuration item (CI) data.

 Implement and enforce data governance, standards, and best practices for CMDB integrity.

 Perform regular audits and reconciliation of CI data to ensure accuracy and compliance.

 Collaborate with stakeholders to define CI classes, attributes, and relationships.

ITOM Administration:

 Administer and enhance ITOM modules, including Discovery, Service Mapping, Event Management, and Orchestration.

 Configure and maintain ServiceNow Discovery schedules and ensure reliable CI population.

 Support the development and maintenance of Service Maps for critical applications.

 Monitor and manage Event Management to correlate alerts and events with actionable insights.

 Platform Administration and Support:

 Perform routine platform maintenance, and patches for CMDB and ITOM modules.

 Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to CMDB and ITOM processes.

 Provide end-user training and support for CMDB and ITOM functionalities.

Education/Experience

 Bachelors degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or 5 years of experience in Information Technology or comparable combination of education and experience.

 3+ years of experience managing ServiceNow CMDB and ITOM modules. ServiceNow certifications (e.g., CIS-Discovery, CIS-Service Mapping, ITOM Implementation Specialist) are highly preferred. null
