As a Sephora Account Manager (SAM) - Inside , you will be responsible for maximizing sales and achieving company business objectives within the defined territory, ensuring excellence in selling, training/education, customer service, merchandising, and operations. The SAM will build and maintain store relationships through consistent, open, and data-driven communication with Leadership and Store Selling Teams. This position will remotely motivate and influence store teams in geographically isolated doors (approximately 50 doors) through sharing knowledge by educating and coaching about the product, the brand, and the application. Doors will be spread primarily on the East Coast and strong partnerships with the Dermalogica field team will be a priority.

What You-ll Do

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Create communication tools

  • Establish -remote- relationships - becoming a reliable source of information and problem-solving for the Sephora team.

  • Track retail sales (and services if applicable) using defined metrics to evaluate the business.

  • Timely return of all phone calls, e-mails, and communication from both retail partners and the corporate team

  • Create programs

  • Deliver market information in a creative and impactful way.

  • Develop and execute programs to motivate and inspire staff. (i.e. launch box, event in a box)

  • Think creatively to identify new opportunities and support tools that will help to best serve the needs of the business.

  • Drive education

  • Partner with training manager development of educational content tailored specifically for Sephora Beauty Advisors and License Beauty Advisors.

  • Liaison with internal education teams to coordinate elevated training sessions and store visits in remote markets.

  • In-store education & support: field and in-store visit schedule to be agreed upon with RM in the local territory as well as special event opportunities in remote areas.

  • Partner with Sales and Marketing

  • Ensure merchandising, product launches, and promotion activities are flawlessly executed in assigned doors.

  • Execution of corporate and store-led events monthly will be mandatory in-home market.

  • 70% in field and 30% remote communication.

What You'll Need

Education and/or Experience:

  • College degree preferred

  • Esthetics license not required, but recommended

  • A minimum of 3 years of sales and/or education experience within the prestige skin/retail industries in a multi-unit role

  • Sephora experience preferred

Key Skills:

  • Exceptional organizational and time management skills

  • Candidates should have excellent communication abilities

  • Strong knowledge of basic computer skills, including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel

  • Must understand nuances of social media and engage authentically.

Working Conditions:

  • This position will be home-based in the greater Atlanta, Georgia market.

  • The typical work week will be Monday to Friday, with 2 weekend days required so that the SAM gains in-store experience.

  • Mandatory in-store time monthly to ensure Inside SAM has firsthand knowledge and experience in Sephora programs.
