As the Senior Product Marketing Manager for Microsoft Teams , you will drive awareness , advocacy , and adoption of Microsoft’s external communication capabilities , which leverage the customization capabilities enabled by Azure Communication Services . This role will help customers modernize their communications with individuals outside of their organization – for example communicating with their business partners or customers. Additionally, this role will demonstrate how Microsoft 365 Copilot can enhance productivity and create business value for communications that happen across organizational boundaries.

Responsibilities
The Senior Product Marketing Manager, Microsoft Teams is responsible for developing messaging & positioning, as well as influencing product strategy for external communications enabled by Microsoft Teams and Azure Communication Services. The following are the primary accountabilities of the role:
Deliver R&D feedback and shape product plans representing business opportunity and customer and partner product needs, including industry shifts and competitive trends
Demonstrate thought leadership and product innovation leadership with customers, partners, industry analysts, and press
Design and execute marketing plans to grow measurable market traction and perception
Drive business stewardship and product marketing depth across a number of focus areas, including Microsoft Teams performance, and security & compliance
Craft clear product messaging and positioning to articulate customer value and differentiate the product
Represent the Microsoft Teams product in briefings to Field sellers, analysts, press, and investors

Qualifications
Required/Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business
OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business
OR equivalent experience
3+ years of SaaS marketing, product management, or relevant management consulting experience
Experience maintaining executive presence and having effective communication to engage with Microsoft’s leadership team, internal/external executive leadership & present on behalf of the broader organization
Successful track record of close collaboration with product management leadership, with experience translating complex technical capabilities into clear customer value propositions
Demonstrated ability to create clarity around complex business challenges, influence cross-functional stakeholders, and communicate results to an executive audience
Impact oriented with successful history of driving business outcomes
Ability to excel in an ambiguous environment and reprioritize to align with business objectives
Demonstrated attention to detail, with a high bar for quality deliverables (written and presentations); proficient in Microsoft PowerPoint, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
Product Marketing IC4 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $103,800 - $200,300 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $133,700 - $219,200 per year.
