Microsoft Corporation Senior Product Marketing Manager in Atlanta, Georgia

The Azure Marketing team is seeking a proven marketer to lead one of our most exciting and differentiated services in the entire cloud – Azure High-performance computing (HPC+AI). This is an end-to-end marketing role that requires strategic thinking, cross-group collaboration, business management and storytelling as well as a passion for technology and new business models. In this role you will partner closely with the Azure engineering team, field, and stakeholders across Microsoft to align on strategy, and plan to drive adoption and accelerate the growth of Microsoft Azure HPC+AI business. You will need to be familiar with HPC workloads as well as emerging AI workloads and how they intersect with HPC including analyzing industry use cases, track market trends and competitive positioning, target high-tech audiences, and plan how to reach them and communicate the value of Azure HPC+AI.

We are looking for someone who can develop innovative partnership approaches that create shared value for Microsoft, partners, and customers.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will lead the production and delivery of:

  • Be the owner and expert of the HPC+AI domain as a business, deeply understanding the business model, business drivers, opportunities, and challenges

  • Build a world-class marketing plan to land HPC+AI WW

  • Develop and land strategy for growing HPC+AI business through sales, marketing, and partners - including an approach to recruit both established and new partners to HPC business.

  • Work with teams across Microsoft to develop programs, offers, and campaigns to execute this strategy

  • Work closely with silicon partner to develop co-marketing plans and execute on the co-marketing activities throughout the year.

  • Plan for and execute compelling product launch plans throughout the year including executive videos, blogs, PR, and analyst outreach

  • Partner closely with engineering, sales, and partner teams to communicate customer messaging / value prop and identify gaps for continuous improvements into our Azure service offerings

  • Plan closely with engineering, sales, and partner teams to execute training and GTM activities for HPC + AI partners

  • Develop and land targeted media campaigns to reach a unique HPC + AI audience through the most appropriate channels to reach the audience

  • Deliver multi-audience value proposition across a complex HPC+AI portfolio

Qualifications

Required/Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 5+ years experience in business, product marketing, product strategy, product management or consulting for a technical product

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 3+ years experience in business , product marketing, product strategy, product management or consulting for a technical product

  • OR equivalent experience

Additional or Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 8+ years experience in business, product marketing, product strategy, product management or consulting for a technical product

  • OR Master's Degree in Marketing, Computer Science, Business or related field AND 6+ years experience in business, product marketing, product strategy, product management or consulting for a technical product

  • OR equivalent experience

  • Proven track record for growing new businesses and building strong x-company relationships with multi-discipline stakeholders and senior executives.

  • Ability to present the Azure HPC+AI business results to MSFT execs as well as presenting the Azure HPC+AI Marketing strategy to internal and external audiences.

  • Solid understanding of cloud computing technologies, business drivers, and emerging trends.

  • Exceptional leadership skills and community building; must thrive working across organizational and cultural boundaries.

  • Strong decision-making, conflict resolution, negotiation skills, and follow through.

  • Deals well with ambiguity, identifies systemic approaches to solving problems.

  • Results driven; strong analytical skills with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Track record for building and landing audience-minded content that drives desired outcomes via modern mediums.

  • Track record for building and leading high-performing, healthy teams.

  • Ability to deeply assess the competition and drive perception-shifting efforts that differentiate Microsoft in credible, compelling ways.

  • Highly skilled in presenting insights in a concise, effective, and influential manner to a variety of audiences, including senior executives on a regular basis.
