T-Mobile USA, Inc. seeks Senior Engineers, Systems ReliabilityinAtlanta, GA toimprove and protect the software and systems behind all of T-Mobile's IT services, including management of scalability, availability, latency, performance, security, resiliency, capacity, and delivering of software faster, better, and cheaper. Design and maintain Cl/CD Pipelines to build the next generation of T-Mobile applications on cloud native platforms and enable great customer experience and product innovation by continuous improvement of operational support. Lead/instruct and mentor the team of Software Reliability Engineers and Software Developers, building close relationships with multiple domains and managing improvement work or POCs as projects.

Assist in creating new designs, architectures, standards, repeatable processes and methods for delivering software faster, better, and cheaper, and managing operations better, resulting in increased customer experience by continuous improvement of the operations of the applications. Demonstrate fluency in emerging DevOps-centric automation tools and technologies for CICD, configuration management for non-prod environments and prod. Perform environment management, automated server provisioning (VMs). Review work product with the engineers who deliver software to improve the stability, scalability, security and efficiency of T-Mobile's services. Create, manage, and use dashboards for continuous monitoring and health check of applications, and the underlying infrastructure, improve the quality of services using the monitoring feedback for nonproduction environment. Contribute to improvement of software delivery processes and operations, e.g. cloud enablement and use of microservices with containerization. Relic Vault to maintain config properties. Manage, A10, HA Proxy and further new migrations and work on creating intakes and work with Engineering team to create new firewalls for existing and new applications. Telecommuting is permitted, but applicants must live within a reasonable commuting distance.Experience and education requirements:PRIMARY REQUIREMENTS: Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, or related, and 3 years of relevant work experience. ALTERNATIVE REQUIREMENTS: Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Science and Technology, or related, and 5 years of relevant work experience.In addition, the following skills are required:(1) Working with Container, Platform optimization, tuning and capacity Technology. Developing custom Container images with IBM Websphere and Sterling OMS components using Docker and deploying to platforms using Kubernetes technologies. Optimizing the docker images to attain the best performance following the container standardizations; (2) Cloud Infrastructure Engineer with Focus on Pivotal, AWS and VMWare vRA. Developing and deploying applications in Cloud technologies provided by Pivotal, AWS and VMWare vRA. Customizing Applications to optimize the usage to reduce the cost of running the applications; (3) Kubernetes Engineer for administering IBM Products, Spring Boot apps on TKE for maximum availability, resiliency with HA DR and scalability. Deploying and administering both Monolith and springboot applications in cloud architecture using Kubernetes and container technologies. Ensuring system stability to provide continuous and seamless experience for Customers and end users; (4) IBM Chain of products Expertise including IBM Websphere Application Server, IBM Sterling Order Management Systems and Commerce suite; and (5) Automation Expert using Gitlab for CI/CD practices and pipeline.
