Upperline Health is based out of Nashville, TN and has clinics in Alabama, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Kentucky, and Tennessee.

About the Regional Vice President
Upperline Health is searching for a Regional Vice President to lead the Georgia and Tennessee markets. Reporting directly to the COO, the Regional Vice President (RVP) oversees the success of a diverse portfolio of multi-state clinic locations and ensures that the region achieves its financial and culture goals and exceeds patient expectations. The RVP is a critical leader within Upperline and requires strong leadership, problem-solving, outstanding analytical skills, flexibility, comfort with ambiguity, and independent judgment to be successful.
This individual must reside in either the Atlanta, Nashville or Chattanooga area.
The majority of the clinics are in Atlanta and the surrounding areas.
What You’ll Do
Lead a team consisting of 25-50 Upperline Health practices and regional support team members, directly managing 5-10 direct reports
Manage a $150M+ P&L and over 100 team members with a focus on enabling, enhancing, and driving operational effectiveness
Be accountable for exceeding clinical outcome metrics, patient growth targets, and profitability goals
Own the development and execution of strategies to overcome obstacles and exceed goals
Work side by side with your teams to ensure operational excellence and deliver an outstanding patient experience
Coach, mentor and develop team members to help them succeed
Partner with medical director(s) to build a collaborative and effective provider culture, focused on delivering outstanding patient care; invest in individual relationships with providers
Be a highly analytical and a data-driven decision maker
Lead opening of new center locations
Lead business development activities in your region including supporting affiliate partners
Manage relationships with local health care providers, health plans, insurance agencies, etc...
Become part of the community — build relationships with collaborating providers, health systems, and community and state organizations
Oversee implementation of key strategic initiatives in region
Support and build Upperline Health’s culture and promote dedication to company values and mission

Experience and Qualifications
Demonstrated history of creating and leading high-performance teams
Strong understanding of value-based care and core value drivers of the model
Collaborative nature with ability to work effectively across functions and diverse stakeholders
Passion to achieve great results and to significantly grow the organization
History of taking on and solving complex problems
Advanced Excel modeling skills and strong ability to compose and present reports leveraging disparate data sources
Ability to connect deeply with teams across clinics and central teams
Incredible levels of tenacity, empathy, and energy
Outstanding communication skills – verbal, written, and presentation
Bias towards action with an ability to quickly learn from mistakes and thrive in an innovative, high-growth, fast-paced environment.
Exceptional professional background in one or more of: healthcare provider operations, managing independent physician groups, health plan operations, or professional services
Advanced degree preferred (MBA, MHA, etc.)
Ability to travel to clinic locations across the region – approximately 25% overnight travel
