Purpose:
The Regional Account Manager (RAM) is responsible for delivering sales growth from identified key regional accounts across the Bioventus Pain Treatments portfolio. Initiatives are focused on proactively contracting new and existing business with large regional orthopedic groups, hospital systems, regional IDNs, and other key strategic accounts, in alignment with Bioventus strategy.
Key Responsibilities: Cultivate relationships to grow the Bioventus Pain Treatments portfolio in designated key accounts Serve as the main Bioventus contact within assigned large regional orthopedic groups, hospital systems, regional IDNs, and other key strategic accounts Identify, negotiate, and manage strategic priorities with new and existing customers Develop and communicate monthly and quarterly plans to meet sales objectives Collaborate with established local sales teams on accelerating Bioventus Pain Treatment sales Own and responsible for sales forecasts, sales funnel/pipeline, and CRM usage Maintain budget and other duties as assigned Holds oneself and others accountable to conduct business in a manner compliant with Bioventus' Code of Compliance and Ethics, policies and procedures and internal controls applicable to their role. Other duties as assigned
Education and Experience (Knowledge, Skills and Abilities) Bachelor's Degree in Business, Marketing, Finance or related field with minimum 5 years of durable goods sales experience Proven experience in negotiating agreements/contracts with high-potential customers Outstanding customer relationship building skills with the ability to leverage them to grow a portfolio Established ability to effectively communicate across diverse audiences and influence cross-functionally through presentation, written, and verbal formats Ability to travel a minimum of 50% In-depth understanding of the functions and operations of regional orthopedic groups, hospital supply chains, and IDNs
