Description

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Financial Analyst in the Professional Services industry in Atlanta, Georgia. The chosen candidate will be responsible for key financial functions such as budgeting and forecasting and will play a significant role in finance. This role is ideal for those who are highly organized, detail-oriented, and have a keen interest in financial analysis.

*Someone Coming from Public Accounting who wants to pivot into Finance

Responsibilities:

• Analyze financial data and create financial analysis for decision support

• Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews

• Monitor customer credit accounts and take appropriate action to collect delinquent payments

• Conduct comprehensive research into variances and refine expense forecasts

• Collaborate with team members to prepare budgets and forecasts

• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, tools, and Excel dashboards

• Increase productivity by developing automated reporting/forecasting tools

• Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation creating forecasts.

  Requirements

• Must have a minimum of 18 months of experience in Public Accounting

• Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data

• Excellent communication and presentation skills

• Proficient in the use of financial software and Microsoft Office Suite

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is required

• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

• Strong understanding of financial regulations and legislation

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• High level of attention to detail and accuracy

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make well-judged decisions

• Proven ability to handle confidential information with discretion.
