Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced Project Manager with a strong background in program and project management, particularly within a matrixed environment. The ideal candidate should have at least 8 years of experience and the ability to think both tactically and strategically while coordinating cross-functional teams. This role requires experience leading enterprise-wide programs and projects, including successful delivery in Agile environments.
Lead enterprise-wide programs and projects, ensuring successful delivery within defined timelines and scope.
Act as a Scrum Master, facilitating Agile ceremonies and ensuring successful project delivery.
Balance business and technical needs, providing a bridge between business requirements and technology.
Collaborate with technology teams to provide sound business analysis, process, and change leadership within an evolving Agile Product Development Lifecycle (PDLC) framework.
Develop and revise processes and guidelines to ensure application development standards are followed.
Provide thought leadership and recommendations based on best practices and experience in a global and diverse environment.
Build and maintain program and project status reports aligned with the enterprise project portfolio.
Provide transparency to Senior Management regarding portfolio issues, risks, and operational strategies.
Conduct project or program audits to ensure standards and scope are met.
Maintain and grow a knowledge base accessible to all team members, ensuring program-related information is easily accessible.
Communicate proactively with management to recommend improvements in business operations, resources, and capacity.
Manage multiple projects simultaneously, resolving scheduling conflicts and meeting deadlines.
Use Agile lifecycle management tools like JIRA and program management tools such as Microsoft Project, Excel, Word, Visio, and SharePoint to track progress.
Identify and analyze opportunities, making tactical and strategic recommendations for continuous improvement.
Plan and conduct meetings with key stakeholders to ensure project alignment and execution.
Skills:
Experience with technology projects in the Financial Services domain, including Wealth Management and Banking technology.
Familiarity with Agile methodologies, particularly Scrum. Kanban experience is also a plus.
Strong hands-on project management approach with a proven track record in executing projects successfully.
High proficiency in project management tools like Microsoft Project, Excel, Visio, and SharePoint.
Works in the area of Software Engineering, which encompasses the development, maintenance and optimization of software solutions/applications. 1. Applies scientific methods to analyse and solve software engineering problems. 2. He/she is responsible for the development and application of software engineering practice and knowledge, in research, design, development and maintenance. 3. His/her work requires the exercise of original thought and judgement and the ability to supervise the technical and administrative work of other software engineers. 4. The software engineer builds skills and expertise of his/her software engineering discipline to reach standard software engineer skills expectations for the applicable role, as defined in Professional Communities. 5. The software engineer collaborates and acts as team player with other software engineers and stakeholders.
