Fluidra is seeking a Program Manager to join our team at our Value Improvement Office and Lab in Atlanta, GA.

WHAT YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE

The ideal candidate will be a Program Manager with exceptional organization and communication experience, managing different project timelines and diverse engineering knowledge in a fast-paced team environment. This position will have responsibilities across a full range of pool products and equipment, and across our global regions. This is not an IoT or IT related position.

The role of the Program Manager will be to contribute to optimize our products, to make them more efficient and to better use the natural resources. Primary responsibility will be to coordinate the idea generation events with the Global Regions and VI Teams and to document every phase of the process from ideas presentation to approved projects with realistic potential savings; to benchmark similar products and to identify value improvement opportunities that in turn, can become projects related to any of our products, globally .

In this role, you will be joining an international company as a member of the Global VI DtV team. You will work side-by-side with engineers, sourcing specialists, purchasing people and manufacturing sites to identify Value Improvement opportunities. You will be able to learn from our product specialists and apply your knowledge and experience to make a difference. A dditionally, you will:

  • Work with VI DtV Team and Global Regions to define ours and competitors’ products for every teardown, to generate and document all ideas and to facilitate the information to review each of them at the Product Conventions.

  • Work with VI DtV Team and the VI Teams in APAC, EMEA and NA to perform purposeful product teardowns, should cost analysis, ideas creation and project management.

  • Work with the Global VI DtV Director; as well as the VI Teams in APAC, EMEA and NA to ensure the teardowns are consistently executed, to coordinate the logistics of the products being analyzed and to make sure that all ideas are captured and sized accurately.

  • Become the key member of the VI DtV Global engineering Team to provide with accurate information that could translate into projects for every product and VI Team in APAC, EMEA and NA.

  • Develop and document teardown analysis for every product based on the Quarterly teardown plan developed for all Fluidra Regions and Products.

  • Analyze Fluidra products to understand how they work and how the different functions can be done in a simpler and more cost-effective way.

    WHAT WE SEEK

  • 5 or more years as Project Manager, Project Engineer, or Continuous Improvement Engineer.

  • A team player with good interpersonal skills, who is self-motivated

  • Exceptional meeting facilitation skills and public speaking remotely and in person.

  • Flexibility to travel around 20% domestically and internationally.

  • Ability to work independently and as a team member.

  • Ability to clearly communicate and to present with impact and clarity.

  • Proven track record of accomplished projects with increasing responsibilities.

  • A background in pool products is a plus.

  • Engineering background with e xtensive knowledge of various types of mechanical and electro-mechanical components and their use in product designs.

  • Knowledge of plastics, metals, electrical and electronic manufacturing processes; as well as electro-mechanical assemblies .

  • Design experience focusing on Value Analysis / Value Improvement of consumer products is also desirable.

  • Analytical, flexible, and able to work on multiple tasks simultaneously.

    EDUCATION

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering . Mechanical, Industrial or Electro-Mechanical Engineering or similar field

  • Advanced degrees are preferred .
