Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

  • 5 years of experience in program or project management.

  • Experience with project forecasting, planning, supply chain, and implementing process improvements.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or MBA.

  • 5 years of experience managing cross-functional or cross-team projects.

  • Experience in data modeling, trend analysis, statistics, forecasting, or business insights.

  • Ability to collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization with experience leading cross-functional process improvements.

  • Ability to be an influential member of an integrated team composed of both technical and non-technical members.

  • Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to customize communication based on the audience.

As a Program Manager at Google, you’ll lead complex, multi-disciplinary projects from start to finish — working with stakeholders to plan requirements, manage project schedules, identify risks, and communicate clearly with cross-functional partners across the company. Your projects will often span offices, time zones, and hemispheres. It's your job to coordinate the players and keep them up to date on progress and deadlines.

The Global Infrastructure Group is responsible for optimal fulfillment and transformation of Google’s fleet by balancing demand intent from Product Areas, owning deployment decisions for new technology, and driving supply capability across data-centers, networking, and machines.

As a Demand and Supply Planning Program Manager, you will be accountable for the order life-cycle, culminating in on-time delivery of capacity resources. In this cross-functional role you will establish and drive metrics, drive process and system improvements to accomplish efficiency and scalability goals, and support the growing infrastructure at global data centers.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $139,000-$207,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.   • Develop supply and demand models to manage total costs and inventories while maintaining/improving service levels.

  • Present demand plans and recommendations to leadership and cross-functional teams, drive timely decisions, and ensure clear and concise communication to all stakeholders in the supply chain.

  • Drive cross-functional projects/programs to implement new capabilities and improve existing ones across the organization.

  • Establish methods (e.g., statistical models, processes and software tools) to evaluate the supply chain’s ability to meet customer demand and develop inventory buffer strategies that optimize cost and flexibility.

  • Collaborate cross-functionally to procure materials and ensure availability, as well as drive resolution of exceptions/escalations in a timely manner.
