Locations:

Locations: Either the NY Metro Area or Charlotte NC (Hybrid). This person would be expected to do some traveling within the US to various client sites, mainly on the east coast and Midwest.

Introduction:

As a Principal Solution Architect, you will support progressing Capgemini’s growth plans in the digital transformation and Customer Experience space by bringing to the table your technology expertise in the front-end web technologies (Angular/React and other Java script frameworks), solution architecture, consulting and hands on technology innovation skills. Picture yourself working with a highly motivated, successful, and diverse team focused on driving services across technology and digital transformation. This role is based out of East coast in USA and will focus on our clients in North America (US and Canada) region. This role will report to the head of Digital Customer Experience practice in North America and part of the CX team, will interface with multiple regional account leaders, sales teams and our clients in a matrix organization. This is a client facing role starting with 1 client and will get extended to multiple clients.

Your Role and Responsibilities:

  • Lead and take point on all solutioning for technology programs for a client

  • Ability to engage and connect with C-Suite / Chief Digital Offer, Head of Technology at the client side

  • Work with sales teams to identify and pursue opportunities in the web/digital transformation

  • Establish and bring strong technology architecture and solutioning expertise with the clients

  • Partner with sales / account teams to drive mind share with clients and evangelize solutions

  • Be the go-to person for platform strategy, solutioning and how to best leverage the technology (web, integration, etc) for the designated client

  • Mentor, guide and manage team of architects, presales consultants, etc

  • Establish credentials and point of views / thought leadership with our clients on web modernization / digital transformation / deep engineering POVs

  • Understand and have experience constructing estimation models / financial models for proposals / RFPs / RFIs

  • Collaborate with other geographies to see how we can share assets, bring best practices for North America clients

  • Will incubate and oversee building solutions, go to market offers and accelerators

  • Assist in assuring client satisfaction and maintaining a strong client relationship

  • Demonstrated ability to engage with and present to both executives and engineering teams in client organizations

  • Preferred background in financial services

  • Preferred hands-on experience in -

  • Web technologies ( Angular / React / javascript / etc)

  • Integration technologies (Java, spring, etc)

  • Data architecture (cloud based AWS, GCP, etc)

  • Platform understanding (AWS, GCP, Azure)

  • Automation environments (DevOps, CICD, etc)

  • Serve as a Subject Matter Expert (SME) on the designed systems and guide consumers on best practices and guidelines on systems integration and use.

  • Facilitate detailed design from requirements and support construction and deployment. Design components in a Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) environment.

Required Professional and Technical Expertise:

  • 15+ overall IT industry expertise preferably with large IT Consulting and Services firms

  • 10+ years of experience working with web technologies (Angular JS, Angular, React, VuJS etc)

  • 5+ years managing large geographically spread teams

  • 5+ years architecting solutions for enterprise web transformation

  • 5+ years in selling and negotiating consulting services

  • 5+ years of experience in senior technical leadership roles

  • SME in Web transformation/modernization responsive web, progressive web and micro front end architecture for financial services

  • Good understanding of web functional solutions in Financial Services

  • Familiar with the Fit Gap Analysis and estimation Process for web applications

  • SME in estimations and building Resource Modelling for new and upcoming requirements on Web application engagements

  • Independent thinker and experience developing solution offerings

  • Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills with both internal teams and clients

  • Should be a team player and collaborate with multi-cultural and multi – functional team

Preferred Technical And Professional Expertise:

  • Preferrable with domain experience on Financial Services industry

  • Preferred understanding of the integration technologies like Apigee, Mulesoft, API / Microservices / etc.

  • Hands on experience extending the business applications using the web technologies

  • Understanding of IT infrastructure, cloud, applications, enterprise architecture and governance models

  • Good understanding of global delivery models and experience working with multiple offshore locations

  • Broad knowledge of how the IT landscape with evolving with cloud, digital and technology playing the catalyst for innovation
