Oracle Principal Applications Developer ( REMOTE) in Atlanta, Georgia
Analyze, design develop, troubleshoot and debug software programs for commercial or end user applications. Writes code, completes programming and performs testing and debugging of applications.
As a member of the software engineering division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Specify, design and implement modest changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.
Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.

BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
3+ years experience using one or more JS framework; React, Backbone & Underscore, Angular, or similar MVC
Advanced understanding of HTML, CSS (CSS preprocessors like SASS) and an in-depth knowledge of the DOM manipulation
Experience with public Github or Github Enterprise or other source control software (e.g. TeamCity)
Experience writing unit and functional automation tests (Jasmine, Selenium, Mocha, Chai)
Experience developing REST services, database objects, and working with ORM
Experience in developing reusable UI components, modules, and patterns
Background in object oriented languages and design approaches (Java, C#, C++, Python, etc…)
Enjoy working in an agile development environment with aggressive release schedules
Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well in a team
What we will be extra impressed by:
Experience in building and deployment of software using Jenkins and Artifactory
Strong design skills, attention to pixel-perfect detail, and the ability to turn concepts and sketches into beautiful designs
Experience building NodeJS or DenoJS applications
Experience developing in Oracle ADF, Oracle JET, Oracle Visual Builder
Experience in programming languages: TypeScript, ES6, Python, Bash
Advocate of Agile practices and methodologies
A personal interest in web technology and a drive for team leadership
