Insight Global POS Technical Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Job Description

Insight Global's client is searching for a candidate who will be assisting the Point of Sale (POS) and IT Manager. This candidate will be reporting tickets to Xenial. In this position, the candidate will work in an event-based helpdesk that will be comprised of partners and internal IT resources that will work to document and resolve any issues that arise during an event with any Xenial system. This position will also work to break down any technology as needed after an event and perform post event assessments.

This position requires a high-energy individual who has a passion for this field of work and the ability to be an initiative-taker. This position will require an extremely broad technical skill set. This position will collaborate very closely with other teams in IT and outside vendors.

While on contract, this candidate will make $26-$30 hourly depending on experience.

Skills and Requirements

  • Experience with POS solutions: Quest Venue Manager or Equivalent venues solution (Xenial, Micros Simphony, NCR Silver, Appetize, Bypass Mobile POS, Aloha)

  • Previous terminal troubleshooting/install experience

  • Proficient experience using a ticketing system such as ServiceNow

  • Basic / Intermediate Wireless Knowledge (Differences between secured / open wireless networks. Ability to identify what SSID a device is connected to) *Strong preference for proficient experience supporting Xenial devices and systems null
