Job Title: Platform Engineer

Location: Atlanta, GA (hybrid)

Position Summary

We are seeking an experienced Platform Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services to build and support scalable and reliable application systems and automate deployments. You will also be responsible for integrating a wide variety systems and technologies using REST API’s, in addition to automating the software development and deployment lifecycle. You’ll leverage observability tools and AI-powered solutions to ensure the smooth operation of our cloud-based systems.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design and implement secure cloud infrastructure using Azure services such as Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Functions.

• Automate the software development and deployment lifecycle using Azure DevOps tools, including Azure Pipelines, Azure Repos, and Azure Artifacts.

• Integrate various systems and technologies using APIs, Python, and JavaScript.

• Implement observability frameworks and tools, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics, to monitor and troubleshoot cloud-based applications.

• Leverage AI-powered solutions, including Autogen, Azure AI Studio and other forms of AI/ML, to generate code, monitor system performance, and automate various tasks.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of cloud-based solutions.

• Continuously integrate, optimize and improve the performance, reliability, and security of the cloud infrastructure.

Required Skills and Experience:

• 3-5 years of experience as a Platform or DevOps Engineer or a similar role

• Proficient in Azure cloud services, including Virtual Machines, App Services, Azure Kubernetes Service, and Azure Functions

• Expertise in automating the software development and deployment lifecycle using Azure DevOps tools including GitHub/GitHub Action

• Strong programming skills in Python, JavaScript, and API integration

• Experience with observability frameworks and tools, such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics

• Knowledge of AI-powered solutions and agent technology, including Autogen and Azure’s AI Studio, to manage cloud based systems

• Familiarity with systems integration using APIs and microservices architecture

• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills

• Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross-functional teams

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
