Newell Brands OTC Functional Pricing Analyst in Atlanta, Georgia

Position: OTC Functional Pricing Analyst

Location: Atlanta, GA

Reports to: SAP Senior Functional Manager

Job Responsibilities :

Lead efforts related to the development, testing, and execution of Pricing processes in SAP and TPM (Vistex) environment. Work with leadership in developing the appropriate strategies, tactics and technology enablers to support pricing and TPM business requirements at Newell Rubbermaid.

Essential Duties:

  • Provide support for pricing and TPM projects related to the complete customer trade investment. Efforts include but not limited to the following:

  • Support blueprint sessions for gathering business requirements

  • Analyze business requirements (functional and technical) to develop a system design and strategy

  • Develop functional specifications associated with system enhancements, interfaces and reports

  • Provide system and process improvement recommendations in support of Customer Development, Trade and other business partner sponsored initiatives

  • Support functional lead analysts and technical architects in testing and execution of solutions

  • Develop and design testing strategies

  • Manage, coordinate, and execute unit-test and integration testing activities

  • Liaison between business partners and change management to deliver end user training along with system enhancements

  • Develop or provide input on business communication as needed to define process and system enhancements

  • Provide excellent customer service in production support efforts for pricing and promotions by working with business process owners and end-users

  • Perform the necessary configuration to support the business requirements in SAP and TPM

  • Exhibit superior troubleshooting capabilities,

  • Facilitating/performing system fixes

  • Managing the release of break/fix opportunities

  • Managing testing, knowledge transfer and delivery of minor enhancements

  • Monitoring system wellness

  • Managing systematic pricing control process along with business and compliance stakeholders

  • Leading learning development for end-user knowledge base

  • Support functional roll-out of new acquisitions or product lines onto TPM and SAP pricing platforms

  • Leveraging of superior business acumen and an understanding of the sales and trade process to continue to develop and refine our trade promotion management platform

  • Develop, maintain, and provide technical expertise


  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 2-3 years of experience in SAP SD preferred

  • Knowledge of SAP Pricing is required

  • 2-5 years of experience with Trade Promotion Management application a plus

  • Strong analytical skills required, proficient in compiling and analyzing large amounts of data

  • Consumer Products Industry experience preferred

  • Demonstrated history of learning new technologies that bring efficiencies to the organization

  • Self-motivated in achieving goals and completing routine tasks

  • Strong strategic skills with ability and vision to map out future business processes

  • Demonstrated ability to influence and foster collaborative relationships

  • Applicant should be comfortable working in a fast paced, flexible environment

  • Demonstrated ability to support multiple projects

  • Ability to reliably execute to deadlines
