We are looking for an Operations Manager for Technical Services to join our senior leadership team with our Jacobs Atlanta Airlines Terminal (AAT) project. The position requires exceptional judgment, independent analysis, superior technical, and proven people leader skills to effectively direct and deploy resources that support client and customer requirements for the delivery of exceptional O&M services at the Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport. The AAT project operates 24/7/365. Shift hours are as follows: First shift 6:00 AM - 2:00 PM; Second shift 2:00 PM - 10:00 PM; Third shift 10:00 PM - 6:00 AM.

Duties of the position will primarily be performed on-site during normal business hours; however, as a senior leadership team position off-hours, weekend, and night work may be required to accommodate special project requests; emergency incidents; inclement and extreme weather operations; and other conditions required to ensure O&M service continuity for the airport.

Essential Job Functions:

• Ensure team compliance with BeyondZero health, safety, sustainability, environmental, and safety training requirements in the performance of work on behalf of client, their customers and broader airport community.

• Participate in daily client briefing communications and oversee and guide the investigation and resolution of immediate issues that may arise following such communications.

• Provide client support, incident investigations, problem-solving, and the resolution of immediate, intermediate, and long-term corrective and preventative maintenance issues in support of O&M service continuity.

• Lead, manage, and support frontline leaders who respond to reactive, day-to-day issues, as well as drive the completion of planned and scheduled projects.

• Assist with trouble-shooting reactive and operational issues required to ensure continuity of operations for critical airport systems and equipment.

• Oversee the resolution of employee relations issues in collaboration with leadership team, senior leaders, Human Resources and the Employee Relations team.

• Drive frontline leader work order completion and enterprise asset management system (EAMS) process oversight and quality assurance of work order and performance data in support of ISO 9001 registration, AAT project’s quality management system goals (safety, cost, quality, schedule, and operational continuity); key performance indicators (KPIs); client, customer, and broader airport community goals.

• Support project quality management system by facilitating and overseeing work delivery processes, service failures and other incident investigations, root cause analysis, proposed corrective actions, and training initiatives consistent with project’s ISO 9001: 2015 certified quality management system to drive a project culture of continuous improvement.

• Create, implement, and maintain standards for service delivery and customer service consistent with client, customer and airport community quality expectations.

• Drive extreme weather event planning, operations, and manpower scheduling, etc. to meet winter and inclement weather service delivery expectations.

• Assist program manager with preparation and delivery of annual and quarterly business reviews (ABR/QBR), maintenance updates, project status, work order performance, KPI, and other reporting as needed.

• AAT Project O&M services are ISO 9001: 2015 compliant.

• Associates degree with a relevant combination of technical training and experience, or bachelor’s degree required.

• Five to seven years management or combined experience with craft, trade, operations and maintenance responsibilities in an aviation, large industrial, public institutional, private sector commercial, manufacturing, or similar facility required.

• Demonstrated skill at developing and driving a project culture grounded in Jacobs BeyondZero safety principles and practices.

• Demonstrated superior, professional communication and writing abilities, along with critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Demonstrated professional performance evidencing capacity to maintain positive, effective, and supportive interpersonal relationships with team, client, and broader airport community.

• Highly developed knowledge and skill in a single or multi-trade specialty area (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, central utility plant, fire suppression, etc.) is required to provide subject matter expertise and guidance to resolve complex and challenging operational, maintenance, scheduling, critical incident, and special operations requests.

• Ability to manage complex operational assignments and negotiate an acceptable resolution that meets client, customer, and broader airport community requirements.

• Compile and analyze data, identify trends, and manage performance data sets to provide clear, concise findings reports.

• Solid administrative skill and ability to effectively use Office 365 and other Jacobs’s project management and administrative programs.

• Demonstrated skill and ability to lead and build resilient, high performing teams committed to client goals and superior service delivery. 

Ideally, You'll Also Have:

• Master’s degree preferred.

• Eight or more years management or combined experience with craft, trade, operations and maintenance responsibilities an aviation, large industrial, public institutional, private sector commercial, manufacturing, or similar facility preferred.

• CFM, PMI, or similar certification preferred
