Please review the following job description:

Develops short-term investment programs with Banking clients and distributes to institutional investors in the marketplace. Ensures the firm is effectively funded through optimal funding vehicles. Ensures the firm has ample liquidity at all times, and manages the daily activity of the money market trading desks (CP, VRDN, Repo, CD). Requires strategic efficiency improvements, and implements forward thinking growth strategies.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Following is a summary of the essential functions for this job. Other duties may be performed, both major and minor, which are not mentioned below. Specific activities may change from time to time.

  1. Engage with Treasurers, Cash Managers and CFOs of bank credit relationships to be named as a dealer on their commercial paper programs

  2. Ensure the broker dealer is efficiently funded

  3. Management of daily commercial paper trading and engagement with the issuing company

  4. Managing the VRDN trading book and having interaction with both originations and investors

  5. Establish new counterparties and enhancing existing relationships in repo

  6. Managing risk in the short term market within risk limits

Level-specific duties:

  1. Assist with project tasks that need to be completed

  2. Help maximize P&L

  3. Adhere to risk limits
