Our Atlanta team is looking for an experiencedMarketing Directorto lead all marketing and lead generation activities for Asset Intelligence, a division ofInforma. You are a “metrics- first” marketer who can create a metrics driven culture across your team. As the Marketing Director, you respect quality content over quantity content and will leverage our unique market position as insights-providers!

The Marketing Director will grow the Asset Intelligence division which is composed of 4 businesses:EquipmentWatch, the leading data and intelligence business serving the $200 billion heavy equipment market;Price Digests, a leading commercial vehicle data supplier to the insurance market;FleetSeek, a leading contact data supplier to the commercial truck market; andCostTrax, a SaaS, compliance platform for cost-plus construction.

In this role you will:

  • Manage an ever-growing teamof brand marketers and supporting team members

  • Maintain a team culture of “customer-first”, leading to deep awareness of customer need

  • Lead all lead generation activities, with #1 KPI for the team being number of leads per brand

  • Drive a digital marketing-first culture, thereby constantly increasing total leads at an ever-decreasing cost-per-lead

  • Use and improve marketing automation activities, with the mindset that it’s the most impactful tool in the marketing toolset

  • Transition the EquipmentWatch and Price Digests Awards Programs to marketing-first programs, with the goal of maximizing awareness in market

  • Look for new, cutting edge marketing tactics, going well beyond standard paid media and common content marketing

  • Drive a culture of constant improvement, a cultural expectation across all of the Asset Intelligence division

  • Establish / extend industry relationshipsthat facilitate growth of brand awareness, including association board involvement, industry trade shows

Position Requirements:

  • Minimum 7+ years in a marketing role within a data and/or software business environment

  • Experience managing and motivating a successful team

  • Track record of success in meeting or exceeding goals by utilizing traditional, online and social media marketing strategies

  • Comfort in a quantitative environment. The company is data-centric and an understanding of how our products are researched and created is a must

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skillswith the ability to consult, partner and work effectively with senior business leaders and business partners across cultures and functions

  • Bachelor’s degree required.

  • Software: Advanced working knowledge of MS Office Suite, specifically Excel and/or other similar statistics and data modeling software preferred, working knowledge of CRM software needed.
