Job Title: Maintenance Engineer

Job Description

As a Maintenance Engineer, you will start each morning attending a shift meeting to discuss the plan for the day. You will receive a list of preventive maintenance tasks (PMs) to complete and be responsible for quickly responding to calls from the production team. You will be expected to complete 3-4 PMs a day.

Responsibilities

• Attend daily shift meetings to discuss the plan for the day.

• Receive and complete a list of preventive maintenance tasks (3-4 PMs per day).

• Respond promptly to calls from the production team.

• Perform conveyor maintenance and repairs.

• Conduct electrical troubleshooting using a multimeter and wiring 480v motors.

• Understand and work with PLCs and VFDs.

• Perform welding tasks as needed.

• Ensure compliance with GMP standards.

• Work with hydraulics and pneumatics systems.

Essential Skills

• Strong mechanical skills.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems.

• Experience using a multimeter and wiring 480v motors.

• Conveyor maintenance experience.

• Knowledge of PLCs and VFDs.

• Welding skills.

• Familiarity with pneumatics and hydraulics systems.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

• Food manufacturing experience is a plus.

• Bilingual skills are advantageous.

Work Environment

The work environment is industrial. There are no openings on the first shift (6a-2p, Monday - Saturday). There are 2 openings on the second shift (2p-10p, Monday - Saturday) and 1 opening on the third shift (10p-6a, Sunday - Friday). Employees are expected to work 1-2 Sundays a month and will get the next weekend off when they work a Sunday.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Atlanta, Georgia.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $33.00
