AT&T has an immediate need for an individual to serve as a Lead-Advanced Analytics on the Generative AI Strategy Team for Mass Markets. He/she will be responsible for serving as the lead technology support resource for the team. They will play a key role in the adoption of Generative AI tools across the Mass Markets organization and will serve as a SME on how to leverage these tools in day-to-day operations. The individual will also work on the development of Generative AI proofs of concept as we gather more use cases from across the business. Role will spend about half of their time serving as the technology support when consulting with stakeholders and the other half running Generative AI analytics or proof of concepts.

Key Roles:

  • Providing guidance on suitable Gen AI solutions and tools to solve business challenges and streamline processes.

  • Provides thought leadership by researching best practices, conducting experiments and collaborating with generative AI partners across AT&T.

  • Collaborate with technical partners on the development teams to communicate business requirements for projects.

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to ensure adoption and use of tools developed across AT&T.

  • May develops complex models and algorithms that drive innovation throughout the organization. This may include improving on-time performance, network planning, etc.

  • Strong communication and collaboration skills; a strong work ethic.

  • Ability to work at an abstract level and gain consensus.

  • Able to build a sense of trust and rapport that creates a comfortable & effective workplace.

  • Brings a high-energy and passionate outlook to the role and has a strong sense of ownership.

Education:

  • BS/MS or Ph.D. degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics or related subject

Experience:

  • Possesses strong understanding of internal business segment or stakeholders and strong presentation skills.

  • Requires 5-7 years related experience in advanced analytics, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing.

Skills and Experience:

  • 5-7 years related experience in advanced analytics, big data, relational database structures, research methods, sampling techniques, and system testing.

  • Experienced with Generative AI tools and platforms, including the fundamentals of how they work.

  • Experience with R, Python, and SQL is required, other program languages are beneficial.

  • Experience working with large data sets, simulation/optimization and distributed computing tools (Map/Reduce, Hadoop, Hive, Spark, Gurobi, Arena, etc.)

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Strong communication and presentation skills is a must.

Our Lead Advanced Analytics, earn between $130,700 - $196,100. Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
