Delta Air Lines, Inc. has multiple openings for IT Senior Software Developer Engineers in Atlanta, Georgia.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide efficient software solution and deliverables to shorten the project life cycle, where applicable.

  • Work with business analysts and product owners to fix software bugs and escalate issues.

  • Develop and support user acceptance criteria. Own the quality of the software product delivered by engaging closely in QA activities.

  • Create visual models (flowcharts, class and activity diagrams, and sequence diagrams).

  • Lead resolution of issues with interfacing systems built on different technologies.

  • Facilitate and participate in regular scrum ceremonies for product status reviews.

  • Telecommuting permitted up to 2 days per week.

What you need to succeed (minimum qualifications)

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, and five years of relevant experience. In the alternative, will accept a Master’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Electronics Engineering, or related field, and three years of relevant experience.

  • J2EE Technologies including JSP, Servlets, JMS, Webservice, Spring, Struts, and Microservices;

  • Server WebSphere and Tomcat;

  • Eclipse, SQL Developer, and Visio;

  • Serverless technologies and Cloud Technologies including RDS;

  • Programming Languages including Java and JavaScript;

  • Databases including Oracle, DB2, and DynamoDB;

  • Version Control SVN and Git; and

  • Operating Systems including Windows and Linux.

What will give you a competitive edge (preferred qualifications)
