Our Opportunity

The Human Resources Manager drives the Human Resources function, policies, and programs at a regional level while collaborating with Corporate Human Resources to roll out corporate-wide programs and policies. This role provides hands-on human resource support to designated geographic locations to include payroll, compensation, benefit administration, employee relations, unemployment, safety and staffing. This position will be based out of our Atlanta, GA location, while requiring 20%-30% travel to support division locations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Implement, disseminate, and monitor company policies, programs, and procedures in the areas of training, compensation, compliance, and benefits to attract, train, and motivate employees.

  • Ensure compliance and accuracy according to company policy, audit employee status changes for payroll, benefit, leave of absence and other related data according to company policy, processes, and procedures.

  • Oversee payroll and benefits administration to address concerns and ensures the payrolls are handled effectively and timely.

  • Act as a liaison between management and employees to quickly resolve employee relations issues preventing escalation and potential risk and liability.

  • Conduct effective, thorough and objective investigations concerning employee complaints and works with managers/employees/leadership to ensure prompt resolution of employee concerns.

  • Identify, in coordination with the local leadership team and Corporate HR, the organization’s talent strategy and needs, Partner with Corporate Talent Acquisition resources for both exempt and non-exempt staffing needs.

  • Comply with all existing federal, state, and local legal and governmental reporting requirements..

    Key Qualifications:

  • B.S. Business Management or equivalent; Concentration in Human Resources preferred.

  • Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification preferred, but not required.

  • 5-7 years' HR administration experience (e.g. payroll, benefits, compensation, staffing, onboarding, etc.).

  • 5+ years progressive leadership experience in Human Resources positions.

  • Experience in utilization of HRIS/Payroll systems.

  • Excellent negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.

  • Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.

  • Experience managing an HR function across multiple states strongly preferred.

  • Attention to detail and excellent interpersonal, problem-solving, listening, verbal and written communication skills.

  • Bilingual a plus.

  • Up to Twenty-five (25%) travel required in support of division locations.
