HR INTERN
If you have a passion for understanding how human capital management can drive business success, this exceptional opportunity is for you. As an HR intern, you will be a member of the Human Resources team and will be responsible for a variety of projects designed to be completed and delivered in approximately 12 weeks. These projects are intended to provide you with operational experience as well as broad exposure to the HR function. These roles will be onsite at our Hopewell, Virgina and Stevenson, Alabama mills.
Qualifications:
Education: High School Diploma and enrolled in a college/university pursuing a BA/BS degree with a focus in Human Resources, Business Administration, or Social Sciences.
Experience: Minimum of three months HR-related experience.
At least one year working in an office environment experience preferred
Basic research
Typing at least 30 wpm
Proficient in MS Office Suite
Email and phone etiquette
Abilities:
Ability to interact with all levels of staff utilizing excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive data required
Excellent verbal and written communication
Superior organizational skills; results-focus with superb execution and follow-through; highly detail-oriented
Efficient, highly productive multi-tasker; self-motivated and flexible; thrives in an entrepreneurial environment
Motivated to learn
Ability to maneuver through the internet
