Honeywell HBS Chief Solutions Engineer in Atlanta, Georgia
The HBS Solutions Engineer works closely with the sales and GMs to help drive sales and value-based outcomes to HBS customers. The solution engineer is responsible for demonstrating our solutions, POC activities, as well as collaborating with offering management and engineering teams across HBS to develop requirements and reference architectures to support the sales and customer lifecycle which will enable growth of the HBS business. Reporting to the HBS President, the solutions engineer will also be the highest level technical consultant for key customers and will coordinate the necessary tasks to deliver the designed HBS solution during the sales process.
Key Responsibilities
Act as a technical expert in customer presentations
Determine the technical requirements to meet client goals
Build strong customer relationships, especially with key customer stakeholders and sponsors
Act as a liaison between the organization’s sales/business development, and product and engineering groups
Manage customer expectations and lead them to customer satisfaction
Keep track of key components throughout POC process
Make sure all deliverables arrive in good order, on time, and fulfill customers’ requirements
Communicate the progress to both internal and external stakeholders
Take initiatives in identifying growth opportunities
Collaborate with our teams to achieve sustainable growth
YOU MUST HAVE
15 years in building automation industry
Deep understanding of Honeywell products and third party products which could be integrated into the solutions
Strong interpersonal communication and customer service skills are needed in order work successfully with prospects, customers, and cross-functional teams to meet performance goals
Strong aptitude for learning new technologies and understanding how to utilize them in a customer-facing environment
Proven problem-solving skills and a sharp analytical mindset
A solid track record of successful project implementations
WE VALUE
Advanced degree in engineering or related filed, business degree is a plus
Extensive engineering experience
Significant leadership experience preferably in an international, multi-site and multicultural business environment
Product development expertise, from idea generation to product launch
Competence to convey subtle or complex messages clearly, as appropriate for the topic and audience
Market focused mindset and ability to anticipate changes in customer's needs
Strategic thinking and effective management implementation on complex projects
Proven track record of successful cross functional experiences
Ability to consistently make timely decisions and balancing systematic analysis with decisiveness, even in the face of complexity
