Amazon Global Process Integration and Operations Lead, Deal Approvals in Atlanta, Georgia

The Global Deal Strategy and Programs (GDSP) organization is responsible for the AWS Private Pricing Program, designed to offer AWS Customers access to commercial benefits in exchange for multi-year spend commitments. The GDSP Deal Approvals team drives approval policy and process to ensure that all Private Pricing deals adhere to AWS policy and meet the highest standards for customers and internal stakeholders.

Reporting to the Deal Approvals Global Leader, the Sr. Manager of Global Process Integration and Operations will be the program leader responsible for owning all deal approval process integration goals, programs, communications, and global enablement.

The successful candidate will be able to partner with large internal customer segments and stakeholder groups to set a vision, design strategy, and achieve consensus on shared goals and priorities. They will work with internal and external cross-functional teams to execute against integration milestones, communicate with senior leadership on integration status, enable new and existing teams, and work backwards to successfully integrate business units. Candidate must be willing to roll up their sleeves and build with us.

Key job responsibilities

• Develop the integration roadmap for the Private Pricing Program and S&TP Approvals (Deal Approvals) process for AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services.

• Leverage your organizational experience, advanced business judgement, and understanding of the impact on stakeholders to partner with business unit stakeholders to align on the integration roadmap and associated project plans.

• Partner with cross-functional stakeholders to execute against the integration roadmap supporting policy, process, tooling, and enablement efforts in support of the Deal Approval strategy.

• Collaborate with the Global Approvals Team to onboard additional approvals processing and monitor post transition activities.

• Ensure that all stakeholder teams uphold Amazon policies, Private Pricing mental models, established approval guidelines, and best practices.

Basic Qualifications

  • 10+ years of experience driving program and change management in a large and complex organization

  • 10+ years of business operations experience (may include finance, legal, contracts, approvals, or other comparable experience), leading process or system integration initiatives.

  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience supporting a worldwide operations team

  • Experience supporting a global deal approvals team

Our compensation reflects the cost of labor across several US geographic markets. The base pay for this position ranges from $158,400/year in our lowest geographic market up to $262,000/year in our highest geographic market. Pay is based on a number of factors including market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. Amazon is a total compensation company.
