Reporting to the Field Service Manager, the Field Service Technician provides on-site electro-mechanical troubleshooting service (diagnoses, repair, and installation of Esko equipment) at customer sites (printing companies throughout the USA). The role requires 100% travel (25% local travel within Atlanta, GA, and 75% air travel with overnight stays) across the U.S., from Monday–Friday.

In this role, a typical day will look like:

  • 80% preventative maintenance on our AVT product line of industrial camera systems.

  • 10% minor electrical, mechanical, optics, and computer repairs.

  • 10% assist with new installations.

The essential requirements of the job include:

  • 2 years of Electro-mechanical field service, military or equipment repair experience.

  • Electrical: Proficient in using a voltmeter, understanding relays, AC/DC circuits, fuses, and electrical motor fundamentals.

  • Mechanical: Skilled in disassembling, reassembling, and cleaning small mechanical and optical components.

  • Computer: Strong knowledge of PC hardware and Microsoft Windows, including replacing hard drives, power supplies, network & video cards, and installing software drivers.

  • High school diplomor equivalent.

It would be a plus if you also possess:

  • Hands-on, self-motivated, and able to work independently.

  • Excellent communication skills with a strong customer focus.

  • Physically capable of lifting 50 lbs. and maneuvering around printing equipment.

The below range reflects the range of possible compensation for this role at the time of this posting. We may ultimately pay more or less than the posted range. This range may be modified in the future. An associate’s position within the salary range will be based on several factors, including, but not limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, geographic location, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, any collective bargaining agreements, and business or organizational needs.

The compensation range for this role is $27.00 - $31.00 USD per hour.
