This role will focus the development and delivery of differentiated value propositions to the client segments that Truist Wealth serves to drive competitive advantage. In addition to designing and executing client loyalty initiatives, develop the Truist Wealth client experience and lead a team that will align wealth management content, communications, marketing and social media strategies to drive client acquisition and relationship deepening.

Director of Wealth Client Experience and Integrated Relationship Management (IRM)

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Implement strategies for Client Segmentation to include differentiated coverage models, client solutions, and the go-to-market approach for each segment; collaborate with data, technology and infrastructure teams to operationalize the client segmentation strategy throughout financial reporting, incentives and core systems

  • Negotiate and partner with cross-functional teams to develop products, services, pricing and experiences for Truist Wealth client segments (Signature, Reserve, GenSpring) and Specialty wealth programs (Medical, Legal, International Wealth, Sports & Entertainment, Foundations & Endowments)

  • Lead a team to create and deploy the Advisor Marketing Toolkit for Truist Wealth. This includes digital solutions supporting social media, client-facing pitchbooks program and content, email marketing tools and advisor websites. Work with sales leaders to promote advisor toolset to client prospecting and brand awarenessPartner with Retail and Small Business Banking (with an emphasis on Premier Banking) along with other Wholesale Banking Businesses (with emphasis on Commercial Community Bank and Corporate & Investment Banking) to align client segment value propositions and experiences

  • Partner with enterprise functions including Truist Digital, Payments and operation groups to build compelling client journeys and digital experiences, enabling client acquisition and the deepening of the client relationships

  • Lead and design client feedback programs to track and drive client loyalty. Leverage voice of the client and client advocacy programs to drive experience standards throughout Truist Wealth

  • Partner with market research teams on competitive intelligence / research measuring the efficacy of planning, service, accessibility of platforms and the client experience; partner with sales and marketing to promote competitive advantage while addressing uncovered gaps

  • Develop client and teammate communications in a consistent tone and voice, disseminating knowledge to advisors and teammates across Truist Wealth and externally to clients

  • Prioritize and lead client-related process and policy changes, ensuring regulatory compliance and prudent management of risk (ex., UDAAP, Fair Banking, Non-Branch Office, etc.)Recruit, develop and retain a diverse workforce

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or Banking, or equivalent education and related experience

  • General Securities Representative (Series 7 or equivalent) and Principal Manager (Series 24 or equivalent)

  • Ten years of financial services industry experience with progressively more responsibility

  • Seven years of experience in a formal leadership or management role

  • Advanced understanding of a broad range of financial planning and investment concepts, and an advanced working knowledge of retail banking

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, organizational and communication skills

  • Evidence of the ability to consistently make good decisions through a combination of analysis, wisdom, experience, collaboration and judgment

  • Ability to prioritize tasks and work well under pressure

  • Ability to keep abreast of, understand and communicate changing regulatory rules and procedures

  • Ability to effectively present information to top management, public groups and/or boards of directors

  • Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office software products

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master's degree in Business, Law or Accounting

  • Strong understanding of Premier Banking and Commercial Banking and connectivity to Truist Wealth

  • Strong understanding of Brokerage and Trust coverage models, incentive structures and applicability to different parts of Truist Wealth

  • Other professional designations
