RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for sales and building relationships with new Financial Institution (FI) partners
Bring new FI partners
Drive and manage the sales plan for new FI partnerships
Generate new sales leads & drive adoption
Develop referral partnerships that help drive revenue
Identify, prospect, and close new FI partners to meet and exceed annual goals
Negotiate FI partnership agreements
Perform daily efforts to generate lead sources and pipeline management
Understand & remain up-to-date on banking industry insights & issues, specifically community banking
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 5 years of relevant experience; OR HS/GED AND 9 years relevant experience
Willingness to travel up to 50%
1-3 years sales experience within the financial services industry
Understanding of community banking current events & industry issues
Effectively manage sales process from beginning to end; from prospect identification & development to successfully closing the deal
Presentation skills
Negotiation skills
Review agreements with prospects
Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel
Must be 18 years of age or older
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (desired but not required)
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree AND 5 years related experience
Strong business acumen
Excellent written and verbal communication
Relationship building & utilizing a consultative approach is necessary for success in this position, to interact with executives at all levels, including CEO & President
