RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Responsible for sales and building relationships with new Financial Institution (FI) partners

  • Bring new FI partners

  • Drive and manage the sales plan for new FI partnerships

  • Generate new sales leads & drive adoption

  • Develop referral partnerships that help drive revenue

  • Identify, prospect, and close new FI partners to meet and exceed annual goals

  • Negotiate FI partnership agreements

  • Perform daily efforts to generate lead sources and pipeline management

  • Understand & remain up-to-date on banking industry insights & issues, specifically community banking

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor's Degree in related field AND 5 years of relevant experience; OR HS/GED AND 9 years relevant experience

  • Willingness to travel up to 50%

  • 1-3 years sales experience within the financial services industry

  • Understanding of community banking current events & industry issues

  • Effectively manage sales process from beginning to end; from prospect identification & development to successfully closing the deal

  • Presentation skills

  • Negotiation skills

  • Review agreements with prospects

  • Proficient with all Microsoft Office products, specifically Excel

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS: (desired but not required)

  • Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree AND 5 years related experience

  • Strong business acumen

  • Excellent written and verbal communication

  • Relationship building & utilizing a consultative approach is necessary for success in this position, to interact with executives at all levels, including CEO & President
