The Coca-Cola Company Director, Innovation Planning in Atlanta, Georgia
As a member of the Sourcing and Innovation Planning team, this role plays an integral part in enabling National Product Supply Group's (NPSG) mission of supporting all Regional Producing Bottlers (RPBs) by maximizing System production efficiencies and market opportunities to strengthen the competitiveness of the Coca-Cola System in the United States. NPSG's mission is fulfilled through governance of (1) Network optimization of production to distribution center sourcing for concentrate, cold-fill products (2) Strategic capital investment and divestment planning; and (3) New product/packaging innovation planning .
Function Related Activities/Key Responsibilities:
Accountable for ensuring all inputs are accurate and are received timely for projects within the Innovation Planning pipeline
Develop Product Supply Assessments in support of the Commercialization Process
Lead Innovation Planning projects through established validation processes with key stakeholders
Present projects and recommendations to National Product Supply Group and Regional Producing Bottlers
Support continuous improvement initiatives/projects for Innovation Planning and Infrastructure Planning
Train, mentor, and coach Senior Supply Chain Analysts
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree in the areas of Engineering, Finance, Business, Supply Chain, or Logistics
Related Work Experience:
- 3 to 5 years work in experience in the areas of Finance, Distribution Network Analysis, Manufacturing, Production Network Optimization, Transportation, Demand Planning, or other areas related to Supply Chain
Functional Skills:
Understanding of network optimization principles, linear programming, and relational databases
Stakeholder Management - skilled at understanding the needs of multiple stakeholders and able to iterate analysis to reflect stakeholder requirements
