Our Parsons Atlanta office is now hiring for an experienced Construction Engineer, who will be responsible for a broad spectrum of technical and administrative duties primarily associated with project document management and construction management support. You will be assisting the construction manager and project team in the receipt, distribution and maintenance of all project documents.
Assist the CM with the submittal, design review, and plan revision process. Receive, record, review, transmit, and track the resolution of the task. Maintain appropriate logs in the project information system.
Complete other responsibilities and assist as assigned to support the project such as: attend and documents project meetings (write minutes), perform expediting functions.
Prepare periodic reports summarizing progress of design and construction activities for higher level management and payment verification.
Perform other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate.
Requires full-time in-person at the project office in Atlanta, Georgia
Degree from a four-year college in Civil Engineering or Construction Engineering or a related field.
Minimum Three (3) years or more experience directly supporting an active construction project, preferably civil, highway related.
Proficiency in CAD, Microsoft Office, Bluebeam is essential
Experience with P6 scheduling software also is required.
Shall become proficient in e-Builder and any other system used in the project.
Must be licensed to operate motor vehicles in accordance with Georgia law.
