Wholesale Operations – Real Estate Loan Operations / Operations Analyst – PSWP20
Support loan activities for the Wells Fargo Mortgage Banker Finance Group. Portfolio outstandings (on and off balance sheet) exceed $18 Billion(Monthly). Customer base typically represents small to medium mortgage loan lenders/originators.
Perform setups in the loan system including links to other bank systems such as Cash Management and Funds Transfer.
Perform various data entry loan functions such as incoming funds postings, Control Disbursement postings, auto-fundings, ZBA Sweeps Postings, Principal Reduction updates.
Process changes, adjustments to loan data as requested/authorized by the business unit or as needed to address errors.
Interact with business unit and third parties regarding daily fundings and closings. Prepare/Initiate advances for approved credit relationships; process funds transfers; process and accurately apply principal, interest and fee payments.
Process loan settlements
Monitor Client operating account balances
Balance all inputs to the loan system to source documentation, daily.
Reconcile all daily loan fundings to both the loan system and the Funds Transfer system.
Provide internal and external customer service. Through a working knowledge of the systems and account relationship provide information to resolve customer issues and questions.
Learn and become proficient in using the WLS system.
This position may also:
Request and implement new Repetitive Wire setups with Funds Transfer.
Perform new client set up in WLS system
Advise operations management of discrepancies with agent banks and /or research claims on purchased participations.

- 4+ years of capital markets industry experience; or 4+ years of military experience
Extensive knowledge and understanding of loan, securities, and derivative products
Intermediate Microsoft Office skills
Strong analytical skills with high attention to detail and accuracy
Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Effective organizational, multi tasking, and prioritizing skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced deadline driven environment
Ability to take initiative and work independently with minimal supervision in a structured environment
A BA/BS degree or higher in business or finance
Other Desired Qualifications
Direct experience in dealing with customers. Information exchanged is typically routine/factual. Position typically deals with middle to senior levels of internal management and/or external equivalents.
Working knowledge of various systems relative to commercial lending, deposit accounting, money movement and general ledger.
General knowledge of banking and finance terms and concepts.
Ability to perform under pressure and meet deadlines that may arise with little notice. Inaccurate processing would cause inefficiencies, expense and could negatively impact external customers (loss of relationship) or cause lack of credibility in the marketplace.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
