Cisco is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager , preferably with a background in Finance or Procurement , to join our team!

Business Professional - Program Manager 2

Location : Remote (Preferred locations: Atlanta or Raleigh)

Duration: 18-month tenure

Pay Rate: $96 per Hr.

Position Overview

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex programs, negotiating software contracts, and ensuring alignment with financial and procurement strategies. This role will involve coordinating cross-functional teams and driving the successful execution of software-related projects and programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage software-related programs from initiation to completion, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.

  • Oversee the negotiation, execution, and management of software contracts , including licenses, maintenance agreements, and service level agreements (SLAs).

  • Collaborate with Finance and Procurement teams to develop strategies for cost-effective software procurement and management.

  • Coordinate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful delivery of software projects and programs .

  • Monitor program progress, track key performance indicators (KPIs) , and report on status to senior management.

  • Identify and mitigate risks associated with software contracts and procurement activities.

  • Facilitate communication between stakeholders, Finance, and Procurement teams to resolve issues.

  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for software procurement and contract management.

  • Prepare and present reports and dashboards on software spend, utilization, and program performance.

  • Mentor and support team members in program management, contract negotiation, and procurement best practices.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Procurement, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on software contracts and either finance or procurement.

  • Strong understanding of software licensing models, procurement processes , and financial principles.

  • Proven project and program management skills, with a history of successfully delivering complex programs .

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex contractual language and financial data.

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence decision-making .

  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational and project management abilities.

  • Proficient in project management software , contract management tools, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems.

  • Ability to work collaboratively and manage multiple priorities .

  • PMP or other project management certifications are a plus.

Pay Details: $96.00 per hour
