An Aviation Construction Scheduling Lead is needed for a leading construction organization in the Atlanta metro area. The Aviation Construction Scheduling Lead is responsible for supporting several large aviation construction projects across the United States. In this role, you will play a key part in developing and managing project schedules, ensuring alignment with project goals, and collaborating with project teams to maintain schedule accuracy and efficiency.

Candidates should possess a strong background in CPM scheduling. A minimum of 10+ years in aviation commercial construction management, including at least 5 years of experience in creating and managing CPM schedules, is preferred. Candidate must have experience with scheduling construction projects that exceed $100 million. Proficiency in Primavera P6 or Microsoft Project is required, with a willingness to become highly proficient in the other. This is a direct-hire role, and relocation is available for qualified candidates.

  • Lead the development and management of project schedules using CPM best practices

  • Coordinate scheduling efforts with project supervision, owners, and subcontractors/vendors

  • Conduct weekly schedule update meetings and provide easy-to-understand reports

  • Analyze the critical path and identify variances from previous baselines

  • Create and maintain resource-loaded schedules to track earned value metrics

  • Mentor junior schedulers and ensure consistent application of CPM best practices
